Some of us have thought to ourselves while sitting in our work offices, “why do I drive here every morning when I can probably do this job from home?” Working in some offices you’re not allowed to work from home unless there’s an “appropriate circumstance” that allows you to do that. The appropriate circumstance could be taking care of an ill parent or child that requires close attention and care. Even so, some companies will make it difficult for you to work from home because they would have to check out special equipment, go through the necessary paperwork, and possibly explain to your other coworkers why you can work from home and they can’t.

Well in March of 2020 we got our wish. The COVID-19 pandemic was spreading across the U.S and jobs were forced to change the way their employees worked. Some of us who used to work in an office setting got to work from home.
